I know the media tend to sensationalize (just a little), but who in their right mind would think of this in the first place to consider it as an option?
Unbelievable. So, as a parent, I am responsible for my kid if they are habitually truant and may end up in jail myself for their decisions in this and other arenas, but the government can give birth control pills to my kid without my knowledge or consent? What is the world coming to?

I can't send cough drops to school with my kiddos without a doctor's note. What on earth makes it ok for the school to pass out contraception?
