Hi! My name is Maya. I love everybody! I have a blue plastic kiddy pool that is full of water and mud and I really like cooling off in it and then running into the house. I especially love to eat popcorn and watermelon. I love to lean on my humans. I am a pretty good dog, I think, and am curious about most everything and not especially neurotic in any way - like some dogs I know. I have tender feet, and if someone accidentally steps on one of them I yelp to the world and embarass my owners.
On the first day that I came to my home - that's me just below on the first day - 
I hurt my front paw and yelped all the way around the corner of the house to find my new mom - holding the paw out in front and gimping on the other three - I was a pitiful sight. There was no blood.
I just wanted to let you know that I am here and I like cookies.
She's adorable! Back to that whole fuzzy ear-scratching thing... :)
