I came up with a new phrase: Culturally Non-Integrated. If it gets around, used and becomes the social and political buzz word for the month, you heard it here first.

2007 has been way too busy for its own good. This a.m. as I stopped to fill the car with gas for the second time in 5 days, it was a 3 swipe/3 whack kind of morning: 3 swipes before my card would register, and 3 whacks on the big 85 before it decided to let me pump gas. As I drove to work Led Zeppelin...then Jethro Tull...then Eric Clapton all combined with the bright sunshiney day that almost...almost caused me to miss my exit to work. Just keep drivin' on down the road. Leave the busyness behind.
Then I worked... a busy day, where I whacked my thigh muscle not once, but twice on the conference room table that doesn't move. Then I commuted home in brain-numbing, traffic-jamming slowness to meet the electrician who waited an extra 20 minutes for me. Blasted over to pick up my stepdaughter, then blasted on over to church where I had yet another appointment. This was different though. I met someone for the first time who'd read this blog. I had planned to be there 45 minutes max, so with no dinner under my belt I stayed until 8:40. The bonus at the end of the day? besides a Good Times hamburger at 9p.m..... This individual - who I met this evening - and I may start a new and different women's group. If it works out, you may just hear more about it. But for now, it's off to wind down...
